The truth is that if you haven’t been dreaming of your wedding dress
since you were a child, having already decided on a specific one many years ago
and which no one can change your mind about, the question “what wedding dress
should I choose?” is not the easiest to answer.
Firstly, the market with its countless choices in designs, patterns,
fabrics and prices does not help. In addition, your pocket usually does not
help either, as you probably do not intend to spend more on the wedding dress
than on the entire wedding. Or do you intend to?
The wedding professionals are so many though, and eager to help every
bride become the wedding queen she always dreamed of, answering all the bridal
queries she has, but you do not even know where to start asking them your
questions. That is why you have your own wedding coach (here, hi!) to guide you
so that you do not end up without… a wedding dress.
First, let's clarify that it is one thing to look for a ready-made
wedding dress and another to have one sewn on you. The main - but not the only
- difference is that if the wedding dress is sewn on you, the choices in
patterns increase greatly. Yes, even those that you think would not suit you
can be adapted accordingly to your body, always in the right hands. The types
of wedding dresses are infinite though, so even if you decide to buy a
ready-made wedding dress, the choices you will have for your body type will be more
than one. This choice has to do with your budget, with whether you would like
to buy it instead of renting it, as well as with whether you would like your
wedding dress to have a unique design inspired by you and especially for you.
Secondly, it is very important to know the strengths and weaknesses of
our body. All bodies are beautiful because they have imperfections, which make
each body interesting, but your wedding day is the day you have the right to
represent (and maybe prove) the elusive perfect. The perfect that for every day
and for a lifetime would be boring, but for your wedding day it is a big bet.
In the third phase, you need to choose your favorite fabric (suitable
for a wedding dress) because it is very important not to only feel like a
goddess at your wedding but also, very comfortable. A comfortable goddess, yes!
Whether you take it off after the ceremony or keep it on overnight (we will
discuss this more privately), think that the hours you will be in it will not
be few. Make sure you are comfortable because the last thing you want is
itching and redness, right? Right.
If you end up with these 3 questions, we are not saying that you have
already reached the source, but you have literally done half the journey.
See you on board Queen
Xx
